Authors announce their interest in publishing in Knižnica journal in advance by sending an e-mail to zuzana.struharikova@snk.sk or redakcia@snk.sk, in which they inform the editors about the topic of the paper. The editors reserve the right to reject a paper that is not in accordance with the thematic focus of the journal. If a specific issue is already fully occupied at a given time, the editors will propose to the author to publish the paper in the next issue. 

Deadlines for papers for language proofreading:

• The Library 1/2026: 28th November 2025 (release date 31st March 2026)
• The Library 2/2026: 27th February 2026 (release date 30th June 2026)
• The Library 3/2026: 29th May 2026 (release date 30th September 2026)
• The Library 4/2026: 31st July 2026 (release date 4th December 2026)

• The Library 1/2026: 26th September 2025 (release date 31st March 2026)
• The Library 2/2026: 28th November 2025 (release date 30th June 2026)
• The Library 3/2026: 27th March 2026 (release date 30th September 2026)
• The Library 4/2026: 26th June 2026 (release date 4th December 2026)

Papers that comply with the publishing guidelines and publication ethics are sent to the editors together with a filled-in contact form, which is used for the License Agreement processing. By sending the paper to the editors, the author agrees to the GDPR regulation on the processing of personal data.
